What is a 360 Image?

A 360 image is a type of panoramic image that allows users to freely rotate the image and get an immersive look at their surroundings as if they were there. The most common type of 360 image is called an equirectangular image; one where the width is two times as large as the height.

When viewed using conventional photo viewing software, these images look like an unrolled ball, but using specialised software such as the RCX 360 View or 360 Lens allows users to immerse themselves and unlock the potential of their 360 images.
