Content status

All content in 360 Manage can easily have their status updated based on your needs. This allows for content to essentially be de-listed without the content being deleted.

Deactivating and reactivating content

The status of content can be updated while editing said content. Click the three-dot menu in the top corner of the page and select archive/publish or deactivate/activate, depending on the type of content.

When content is archived or deactivated, it cannot be viewed by anyone in 360 View.

Access levels

Some content have access levels attached to them, which allows content to be marked as public, private or disabled depending on your needs.

  • Public: All users - regardless of assignment - have permission to view the content through sharing.
  • Private: Assigned users are allowed access via sharing.
  • Disabled: All sharing access is disabled.

Deleting content

For security reasons, when content is deleted it is not deleted right away. Instead, it is placed in a deletion state.

warning

Before content can be deleted, it must be unpublished or archived.

While in this deletion state:

  • The content is deactivated or archived, depending on the type of content. This status cannot change while it is in the deletion state.
  • The content cannot be accessed by anyone from 360 View.
  • The content will be permanently deleted after a set retention period of 90 days.

Once data is placed in the deletion state, and the retention period has passed, the data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

Cancelling a deletion request

A data deletion request can be cancelled at any time during the retention period. Once cancelled, the content is still deactivated but can now have its status and access level changed.
