Views

The container to hold your 360° content.

Anatomy​

A view consists of the following:

  • A name,
  • A collection of tags, and
  • A 360° image with a defined starting location

Creating a new view​

Views must be created under an existing project. When editing a project, click "create view".

Tags​

Tags are a great way to group relevant views together, and allow for easy search and filtering. Any number of tags can be assigned to a single view.

To add a tag:

  1. Enter the name of a tag in the "Tag..." text box.
  2. Click "Add tag" or hit enter.
  3. Repeat however many times you like for each tag you want to add.

Once a view is tagged, it will appear when views are searched by tags.

360° image​

For best results, ensure you upload an equirectangular image.

There are some restrictions when uploading a 360° image:

  • The image must not be larger than 2000 px x 1000 px,
  • The image file size must not exceed 5 mb, and
  • The image file must be either .jpg or .png format.

Editing an existing view​

Select a view listed under a project to edit it. This will bring up a form pre-filled with the information of that view.

Sharing a view​

Views can be shared with others via a QR code. For more information, visit QR codes.
