Content status
All content in 360 Manage can easily have their status updated based on your needs. This allows for you to control who has access to what content, or de-list content without it being deleted.
Statuses are used across all content but act a little different between the content types.
Status levels
Affects the following content types: projects, views.
Projects and views have status levels which controls who is able to see the corresponding content in 360 View. The following statuses are available:
- Public: anyone can access the project or view, regardless if they are signed in or not, and if they scan a QR code or access via a link.
- Private: only users who have been assigned to the project or its parent client will be able to see the project or view(s). If someone attempts to access the project or view while they are not signed into 360 View, they will be prompted to do so to verify they have access.
- Disabled: no one can access this project or view.
- Inherit (view only): a view with this status will copy the status of the project is it assigned to.
Active state
Affects the following content types: clients
Clients have an active state toggle; they can be either "active" or "inactive". While inactive, the client and all of its assigned projects cannot be seen in 360 View.
While editing a client, it will be possible to toggle between active or inactive.
Deleting content
For security reasons, when content is deleted it is not deleted right away. Instead, it is placed in a deletion state.
Before content can be deleted, it must have its status changed to disabled or marked as inactive.
While in this deletion state:
- The content becomes disabled or inactive or archived, depending on the type of content.
- The content cannot be accessed by anyone from 360 View.
- The content will be permanently deleted after a set retention period of 90 days.
Once data is placed in the deletion state, and the retention period has passed, the data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
Cancelling a deletion request
A data deletion request can be cancelled at any time during the retention period. Once cancelled, the content is still deactivated but can now have its status and access level changed.
