Views
This is where 360 content is uploaded to, and what users will see in 360 Manage. Views consist of a 360 image and a title.
A view consists of the following:
- A name,
- A collection of tags, and
- A 360° image with a defined starting location.
Creating a new view
To create a view, it must be created while editing an existing project. When editing a project, click Create a view
.
Tags
Tags are a great way to group relevant views together, and allow for easy search and filtering. Any number of tags can be assigned to a single view.
To add a tag:
- Enter the name of a tag in the "Tag..." text box.
- Click "Add tag" or hit
enter
. - Repeat however many times you like for each tag you want to add.
Once a view is tagged, it will appear when views are searched by that tag.
Starting location
When uploading a 360° image, you can define the starting location of the view. This is the direction the view will face when it is first opened. Once an image is selected, you can click and drag the slider to change the starting location.
360° image
For best results, ensure you upload an equirectangular image.
A 360° image file must be either .jpg or .png format. If the image file size is larger than 5 MB, the image will be automatically compressed to best meet the optimal size for viewing.
